Im ordering another bottle. I have not tried NAD  and Resveratrol but this got me to start this journey, will update as I go along. I just recently got this product! Have not heard about this supplement before, however I can feel difference in my energy levels right away.

Now a long time user of this product, the first purchase was from another manufacturer, but I see little difference in effect.  Now to the nitty gritty of my experience overal.  I am 79 years old, beat up from too much life, broken back as kid, active as hell throughout life, now having five joint replacements.  I could not stand in one place for more than five minutes without extreme pain and then lose control of the left leg, in a shell, I was getting bad off.  Also I was struggling with memory loss.   In order to get a good analysis you must test old mice or old men, not the young ones.  At 50 I could run a marathon, at 78 not.  Within several weeks, my pain had gone away, I could wander around, stand around and now a year later have to remind myself of what I was then.  I can and do walk several miles at a time and do not feel the fatigue.  I logged off some property and worked hard, not as good as I once was, but loved working hard again.  I have never taken a higher dosage, only 125 mg.  To 250mg.  Only know kicking it up to 500.  This stuff works, it has set the clock back many years for me.  After a year when I mention my age, folks cannot believe it, they see me as 20 years younger.  I know, some will think this BS, but you old farts out there give this product or another a try, it might bring you around.  For me, it is been well-tolerated, but judgement on efficacy will take a longer period of use to assess.

I have taken many of the more expensive NADs out there and this one is the best I have used so far in terms of price and absorption into my body. I have added more and more Double Wood products to my supplement regimen.  I know this is all anecdotal evidence and it is not concrete evidence but these have been the benefits 6 months into taking this NAD  booster as supplementation.  NAD is hightly touted and I depend on DW to supply a high quality supplement.

I do not have any specific effects to report from the NAD supplement, but I am hoping that it is lending support to the NAD injections I am getting.  .  Simultaneously, I have started getting NAD injections under the supervision of my nurse practitioner.  I have been taking Niagen for three years with no bad side effects. I have read it helps with cognitive functioning. Takes about two weeks to Start working but it is definitely noticeable. I have been using this for about 2 years now after reading about it in a health and wellness book.  I have used the more expensive TRU when this is not available and found no difference so save your money both do the same thing one is just cheaper.  The sleep most likely leads to the energy but it makes sense since NADs are supposed to aid cellular health due to more efficient mitochondrial function.  I run and go to the gym 6 days a week and rarely lack energy.  I like the idea of trying to extend my life, as well as quality of life, so the price of this is reasonable and works within budget.  Two biggest things I have noticed is increased energy and better quality REM sleep.

Seems like i feel better.  The dosage  600mg  is higher than most  500mg  so the overall dosage  1200mg  is higher and quicker to act.  I have found that using these some days I can get by using only half the recommended daily  one gelcap  and my normal 4 drops of methylene blue dilution in my coffee to get all the energy I need.  I am 63 and can outwork those half my age.  It is also helping remedy a score of age-related disorders since my body now has the energy to repair itself again.

I believe NR is even more effective if you use it in conjunction with Time Restricted Dieting.  In a TRD, you can eat whatever you normally eat, but you need to eat it all in an 8-12 hour window, and allow time 12-16 hours a day for cellular repair because the rate of cellular repair does not peak until 12 hours after you stop eating.  In the meantime, they have no bad side effects, and seem to have at least one good effect.  I had an actinic keratosis  sun damage spot  which I recently had removed.  NR has been shown to boost NAD , and NAD  is the mechanism for cellular repair.  I read later that Nicotinamide is supposed to help reduce those, and maybe this is the reason it was shrinking.   These are expensive, but I plan to continue to take them.  Thus, if follows that taking NR, and fasting 12-16 hours will work together.  I do not personally notice any difference but then, I am in excellent shape, and am only a very young 64.  I suggested that a couple of older friends in their 70s try it, and both noticed immediate improvements, and continue to take them.  That way you will have more NAD , and the NAD  will be more active.  In fifty years, if i am still here to write a followup, we will know that the pills did what they were supposed to.  In the month I was taking nicotinamide before I was able to get to the dermatologist, the sun damage spot seemed to be shrinking.  There is no way I should have finished when others who were younger and better trained tapped out.  I think they benefit everyone, but the older you are, the more visible the benefit is.   Edit - A year later, I am still taking them, and plan to continue.
